They kept walking till they reached an oasis. The one who was slapped earlier on, got stuck in the mire and started to drown, but his friend rushed to his rescue and saved him. The friend recovered from drowning and a near death experience, he started to carve on a stone: "Today my best friend saved my life."
The friend who had just slapped and saved his best friend in the same day ask him: "After i hurt you, you wrote in the sand and now after i saved you, you carve on stone. Why is that?"
He replied: "When someone hurts us, we should write it in sand where winds of forgiveness can blow and erase those painful memories away. But when someone does something good for us, we MUST engrave it in stone where no wind can ever erase as it is forever etched in out hearts."
Cool huh?
Well... I learnt alot from this...
Its time for the winds of forgiveness to take away my pain...
And also to thank my great friends...
By carving their benefits in stone... =)
U guys rock!! =P
